The name “Chorelate” comes from the word correlate (cor·re·late / verb /ˈkôrəˌlāt/ - have a mutual relationship or connection, in which one thing affects or depends on another)

Chorelate is the culmination of my lifetime of dancing and choreography and 15+ years of professional dance instruction and choreography experience. Chorelate workshops are designed to be a an open space to explore styles, movements, languages, and more.

  • What are Chorelate workshops about?

    Chorelate dance workshops provide exploration through choreography. Essentially, it is a playground !

    As I always say, this workshop is a safe place for all of us to explore and learn more about our movement styles and ourselves.

  • Who are you?

    My name is Anu Mysore and I am the founder and choreographer of Chorelate!

    Prior to branching out on my own I was a dance instructor and choreographer for over a decade, teaching dancers ages 3 - Adults.

  • Are Chorelate workshops Co-Ed?

    Our workshops are always open to anyone of any gender identity.

  • What dance style are Chorelate workshops?

    Each workshop is different but Chorelate workshops are generally a fusion of two or more styles.

    The workshop will begin with teaching foundational information and techniques of a style or with exploration of performance skills followed by choregraphy.

  • Will you share the song/style/choreo in advance of the workshop?

    Sometimes!

    I think we learn so much when we step outside of our comfort zone. I challenge everyone to show up with an open mind, ready to explore something they may never have tried otherwise.

  • What if tickets on this page are sold out?

    Please DM @chorelate on Instagram or drop a note through this site. We will start a waiting list and/or upgrade to a larger space to accommodate more attendees.

    All Tickets are non-refundable and may not be used for future classes. Tickets may be transferred to another attendee.

  • Will there be videography at the end of the workshop?

    Yes, there will be videography at the end of the workshop unless otherwise specified (in advance). By registering for class you consent to videography; if you would NOT like to be videotaped please let me know at the start of the workshop.

  • I would like to sponsor a ticket!

    Incredible! Please reach out to @anumysore_ via DM on Instagram after purchasing a ticket - we will offer it on a first come first serve basis to dancers in need of assistance.

  • I have an injury/mobility issue.

    The workshop is for you, dancer! Your safety and health is priority. Let me know of any issues at the beginning of the workshop. You are welcome to make modifications in the choreography to suit your needs, if you need assistance with modifications just let me know!

  • Do you offer Private Lessons and Event Choreography?
